Welcome to my website, and my practice, Clare Clarke Counselling. Thanks for taking the time to explore the website, and find out a bit more about me, and what I can offer.
The decision to look for a counsellor or therapist can be one that’s been thought about for some time; or as a result of significant change; a feeling that something isn’t quite right; wanting to work through something or find a new way forwards; or for a multitude of other reasons.
Like most things, it can feel like a step into the unknown, which can be unnerving at times, but can also bring the possibility of great rewards.
I offer a free initial discussion over the phone/via email around why you are seeking counselling and your aims/goals from therapy. We can then make our first appointment.
I can offer sessions face to face/online on weekday evenings. I also have daytime sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays. Contact me for current availability.
Carl Rogers
“Sessions are helping me to find ways to help myself and that analysing my thoughts with someone who can help me understand where my thoughts come from and navigate in an open direction is helpful. There’s a real importance in saying things out loud.”
“Thank you for giving me a safe space to talk about things I never thought I would. I can't tell you how much I've appreciated it and it's something I will always value.”
“I remember a session where I thought ‘ this is why people have counselling’, when you repeated back to me my words for me to really hear.”
“It’s been helpful to know I had someone there non-judgementally for me.”
“What I have talked about in sessions is not what I expected to talk about. It’s been a healing experience.”
“Thank you, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, for everything.”
Sessions available on weekday evenings - face to face/ remotely.
Daytime sessions also available on Mondays and Tuesdays.
